Tony Harte has been working with Glendale for four years and in the arboriculture industry for six.
Before joining Glendale he worked as a subcontracted groundsman for an independent conservation company in Cheshire. He started working as an arborist for Glendale in 2011.
As an arborist, Tony is responsible for on and off-ground arboricltural works, undertaking site specific risk assessments, identifying tree species and common pests and diseases, operating a range of machinery and equipment and carrying out routine tree maintenance. He is also responsible for the specialist treatment of Japanese Knotweed.
He enjoys the variety his role provides and likes working in different environments on a day-to-day basis.
Tony’s qualifications include:
- A Level 2 certificate in Arboriculture with The Royal Forestry Society
- NPTC CS 30/31 and 38/39
- CAT C Licence
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 pesticide and spraying
- He is also certified to use a MEWP, chipper and stump grinder
He is currently working towards his Basic Tree Inspection and Professional Tree Inspection qualifications.
